Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette, born 31 January 1937 and passed away 19 January 2008, was an American film, television, theatre and voice actress. [1] Pleshette began her career in theatre and was first seen in films towards the end of the 1950s. She later was featured in films of note such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). In later years, she was a part of many television productions and was often as a guest actor. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, from 1972 until 1978, in which she earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January 1937, in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1 and Eugene Pleshette. Her parents were Jewish and were the descendants of immigrants from Russia, Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan as well as the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
