Aura Garcia Sanchez is an actress who has appeared in Spanish film and on television. She has appeared in such films as Stockholm as well as the TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid 1989, is a painter and composer. Tomas Garrido has been a composer for the past 30 years and is also a conductor of orchestras. Pilar sanchez, Garrido's mother, is an artist and musician. Her first piano lesson began at age four. She began ballet soon after. She can speak English thanks to having an English-speaking best friend growing up. After finishing her high school studies, she went to the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. She studied interpreter for three years, specialising in textual translation. She left the school at the end of 2010 after she secured a role in Planes para manana. Her role in this film brought her the Silver Biznaga and nominations for Goya Awards, including the best new actress.
